Welcome To My Misadventures Blog!

I'm almost ready for my trip! Today the dogs are going to the vet to get their health certificate for travel. Tomorrow they board a flight to spend the summer with my parents and their uncles Sammy (the lab-chow mutt) and Brandy (the Boxer). I'm opening mail, paying bills, finishing up the backing list and offcially asking the Board of Bar Overseers in Masachusetts to remove me from the bar. I leave at 1:35 am on May 1, 2009 on a Cathay Pacific flight from San Francsico to Hong Kong with a connection to Manila, Philippines. The rest of my life for the next 3+ months will be stored in a 75 liter back pack loaded with everything from a down jacket and hand warmers to tiny bikinis and a snorkel! I have no idea when I'll be coming back. Stay tuned.
